Eugene Goryunov

Eugene is an experienced trial lawyer who represents clients in complex patent matters involving technologies from consumer goods to high technology, networking, and wireless telephony to medical devices and therapeutics. He regularly serves as first-chair trial counsel in US post-grant review trials at the Patent Office and represents his clients in all aspects of cases in US Federal courts, Section 337 customs and importation investigations at the USITC, and in appeals at the Federal Circuit. He is also the co-chair of Haynes Boone LLP's AI practice and regularly helps clients leverage AI assets to maximize business return.

AI and its impact on business

The presentation will discuss the ways that AI can improve and even change the transportation and shipping industries. There are many forms of AI and several have been used for years. For example, automated logistics, delivery routing and route navigation are all powered by AI, whether it be predictive analytics, different calculations or brute-force calculations. This session will explore these models and preview up-and-coming technologies that companies should consider in order to be competitive.
